About Dr. Praveen Pachauri
Dr Praveen Pachauri is an academician of eminence in technical education with twenty-five long teaching experience. He has also been the Director at U.P. Institute of Design, Noida (A constituent Institute of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow under Ministry of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh) and Director (Projects and Planning) at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), Noida.
He is the recipient of "Young Researcher Award" from Institution of Engineers (India) and “Er. Nivesh Kumar Varshney, Meerut Memorial Award for UP/ Uttarakhand State Best Engineering College Teacher for the year 2020” from Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
He has accomplished many prestigious assignments and has been part of various Government Bodies, such as:
- Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan and Chancellor's Nominee in the Board of Management of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Udaipur University).
- Member of the Board of Studies (BOS) at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.
- Mentor for implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) and NBA accreditation at four AKTU affiliated institutes,
- Advisor for MSME approved Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at Maharshi University of Information Technology, Lucknow. Mentoring many Startups companies.
- Associate Dean (PG studies and Research), Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
- Member, Research Advisory Committee (RAC) of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. (Nominated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor).
- Member of Governing Body of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida.
In regards of his Academic Qualifications:
- He has completed B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University.
- He has completed more than a dozen courses from different IITs and Foreign universities for Continuous learning.
Academic and Research Contributions
- He has authored 51 Research Papers, 05 Books, 01 Book Chapter, and 03 Patents
- He has successfully guided 02 Ph.D scholars and 04 are in progress.
- He has delivered 24 invited talks in National/ International Conferences and have organised more than a dozen Conferences/FDPs/STTPs.
