The Institute is situated at Bawandih, Chainpur, Siwan. It is 30 Km away from Siwan Railway Junction. The Institute has a campus spread over an area of 4.5 acres. The Institute is administrated by Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar and Diploma Certificate is given by State Board of Technical Education (SBTE). The Institute was established in 2018 under seven Nischay (resolve) Programme of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Government of Bihar. The mission “Avsar Badhe, Aage Padhein” envisions to create, nurture and shape technical professionals for an inclusive and sustainable society in a national perspective.
To achieve this vision, institute was started to offer Diploma in Engineering courses. The Institute equips its students with good skill to face ever changing social, economical and technical landscape of our country. GP Siwan have offered diploma programme in the frontier of Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg., Computer Science & Engg and Electronics with special focus towards leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation. Faculty, the main strength of the institute, impart their knowledge to the students by using conventional method of teaching learning process as well as contemporary ones and continue to encourage all students to set high goals for themselves and to reach for their dreams. With all limited resources, we always ensure that learning becomes a wonderful experience to all.
The institute takes care of holistic development of its students by nurturing their cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain skills through theory classes, practical classes, workshops, term work, internships and project work. The students are encouraged to participate in Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities. Sports and cultural events are regularly organized to enhance teamwork and ethical perspectives.
